Ready to start!

banner sized white tailed deer

Time flies, doesn’t it? It seems like just last week the Hamilton Road Area Business Association had found the first tree that would be the first stop on the Hamilton Road Tree Trunk Tour. At the annual general meeting, all there was to look at was this:

Limbs off, ready to go.

As always,  you can click each picture for a larger, clearer image.

And we were told that there would be a family of white tailed deer emerging from under that bark very soon.

There they are. Or will be. The commission was awarded to Robbin Wenzoski, and November 25th was set as the date for work to commence on the HamRoad sponsored sculpture.

The next step is to block off the sidewalk and create a work zone for the carver. This is the beginning of a brand new initiative by the Hamilton Road Area Business association, we hope you come down to take a look as the work goes on this week. Certainly, something special is about to happen near the corner of Egerton and Trafalgar!
